The non profit organization’s Annual General Meeting was held on Wednesday, June 22nd in their Day Program building located at 1800 Ebel Road. The agency has been supporting those with intellectual disabilities in southeast SK for 45 years and is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors.

In his report, Chairman Lloyd Montgomery stated that the highlight of the past year was moving into the new Day Program Building and seeing the opportunities this has opened up for our participants. They currently serve more than 40 individuals and are actively transitioning another 8 young adults into their programs.

He acknowledged the dedication of staff and board towards achieving this goal and thanked the community for their generous and ongoing support.

The report from Executive Director Andria Brady detailed the successes of the past year and thanked the staff for their passion and commitment to providing a culture of person centredness.

The highlights of the year included the move into the new Day Program building in May and the grand opening celebration held in August. As well, the agency’s newest venture; Harvest Pie Company, had a strong and successful first year and is positioned well for future growth.

Detailed reports were provided on the various divisions and the Auditor’s report provided by Rob Stephanson of Cogent Chartered Professional Accountants highlighted the strong financial position the agency remains in.
